Fast rising lightweight star Paddy Pimblett is coming off the biggest win over his career and would like to fight again this fall. Pimblett finished former title challenger Michael Chandler in the third round of the UFC 314 co-main event on April 12. The win put Pimblett inside the T op 10 rankings and within sight of a title shot. “The biggest win over my career by a mile,” Pimblett said on the It’s Time Podcast with Bruce Buffer . “I really respect Michael. The fact that he came over to the UFC at a later age and he still come over and was putting on absolute wars with the top of the division. The fact that I got to the beat down that I put on him and the way I dominated him and finished him – I feel like I put a worse beating on him than Charles [Oliveira] did, than [Dustin] Poirier did, than Justin Gaethje did,” continued Pimblett. Pimblett believes he silenced a lot of doubters with his UFC 314 performance and wants an opponent for his next bout that will lead to a championship fight opportunity.
