Two of the UFC’s newest flyweights will battle it out at UFC 170, as Zach Makovsky and Josh Sampo have verbally agreed to fight. MMAWeekly.com sources confirmed the bout first reported by FoxSports.com . Having made a name for himself as the Bellator’s first bantamweight champion, Makovsky (17-4) won the RFA flyweight championship on Nov. 22 before moving to the UFC . He was signed as a late replacement to fight Scott Jorgensen at UFC on Fox 9 on Dec. 14 after John Dodson had to pull out of the fight due to injury.
