WSOF today confirmed five events to its official 2016 schedule, including Saturday’s “WSOF 28: Moraes vs. Barajas” show. Additionally, the promotion announced Web-based shoulder programming that will take fans behind the scenes to WSOF fighters’ training camps. “We are looking forward to an exciting year of world-class competition between some of the best mixed martial artists in the world, and to giving fans, for the first time ever, an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at what life is like for these incredible athletes when they are in camp, preparing for combat,” stated WSOF CEO Carlos Silva in a prepared release. This weekend, the first half gets underway with WSOF 28, which features bantamweight champ Marlon Moraes (15-4-1) as he attempts his third title defense against Joseph Barajas (12-1), who’s won his past two bouts, including his promotional debut against Erik Villalobos this past November.
