Following a disappointing end to his previous year fighting, featherweight Lance Palmer put things together in 2014 and reached the biggest high of his MMA career. “Last year was great for me because I was coming off the only loss of my career for the World Series of Fighting title in December, 2013, and so heading into 2014 I wanted to get right back at it and get a win under my belt,” Palmer told MMAWeekly.com. “I had to wait until June to fight, but once I got in there, I was excited to go in there and dominate – which I did against LoBosco. I knew Rick Glenn (in December) wouldn’t be an easy fight, and I’d have to use all the techniques I had been learning since starting MMA, and I was able to get the finish in the third round with a rear naked choke. “ Palmer’s win over Glenn secured the WSOF 145-pound title that had eluded him in 2013. The fact that Palmer was able to claim the title comes as result of his constant effort to improve between bouts and be a better fighter each time out
