Fitch (25-6-1), who meets Hallman (53-14-2) in Saturday’s NBC-televised co-main event at Ocean Center in Daytona, Fla., originally was scheduled to fight Palhares (16-6) for the title. But Palhares withdrew from the fight after his mom was scheduled for surgery to treat extreme thrombosis in her legs. After a series of changes, Fitch ultimately was booked against fellow vet Hallman, but he’s still ticked he lost the original fight with Palhares. “I think it’s kind of disgusting that he could turn down a title defense on NBC,” said Fitch, who is one of the bigger names on the organization’s first network-televised card
