The World Series of Fighting continues its expansion into Canada with the signing of Ryan Ford. Considered one of the top Canadian welterweights, Ford (21-4) signed a multi-fight deal with WSOF Canada, the promotion’s president, Ray Sefo, told MMAWeekly.com. Ford rose to prominence on the Canadian fight scene by knocking out fighters like Kyle Baker and Karo Parisyan, while submitting the likes of Pete Spratt and Tommy Speer. Of his 21 victories, Ford has finished 19 of his opponents. He is currently riding a five-fight winning streak, including a rear-naked choke victory over Mike Hill at Aggression Fighting Championship 19 in July. World Series of Fighting subsequently purchased AFC as part of its move into Canada
