LAS VEGAS – Roosevelt Roberts wants the chance to prove he could’ve won “The Ultimate Fighter 27” if given the chance. Instead, he was snubbed and didn’t appear on the cast of the show, which aired earlier this year. So, he took another route to the UFC and earned a contract after picking up an impressive submission win in the headliner of Dana White’s Contender Series 15 on Tuesday. Following the bout, which streamed on UFC Fight Pass from The Ultimate Fighter Gym in Las Vegas, Roberts (6-0) discussed that second-round submission win over lightweight Garrett Gross (11-8) and his missed “TUF” opportunity.
