Donald Cerrone Donald Cerrone needs a new opponent for UFC 187 after Khabib Nurmagomedov was forced out of their scheduled bout next month due to injury. Cerrone (27-6 MMA, 14-3 UFC) vs. Nurmagomedov (22-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) was a highly anticipated matchup partially because of the endless amount of pre-fight trash talk . Moreover, the fight had high stakes attached because the winner was tapped to challenge UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos for the title later this year. UFC officials are currently searching for a replacement for “Cowboy” in the pay-per-view main card slot on May 23 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
