Whether middleweight Michael Bisping (28-7 MMA, 18-7 UFC) disagrees or simply displays a very convincing poker face, fact is, after stepping up as a late-replacement for UFC 199’s headlining title bout against champ Luke Rockhold (15-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC), he believes his short camp might have just worked out for the best. “I’ve learned now, because this is the first time I’ve had a short notice fight, that this is the way to do it – to look after yourself and turn it up,” a fired-up Bisping told media after UFC 199’s open workouts on Wednesday. “I had two-and-a-half weeks of intense work.
