Certainly you haven’t forgotten the gruesome ankle injury Chandler suffered in the first round of his title defense with Brent Primus that cost him the lightweight championship in June at Bellator NYC. It was an unfortunate thing to happen to Chandler, who showed a warrior spirit by continuing to fight through until the referee stepped to have him examined by the cageside doctor. The decision was obvious: Chandler (16-4 MMA, 13-4 BMMA) couldn’t continue, so he lost his belt via injury TKO to Primus (8-0 MMA, 6-0 BMMA)
