Second-ranked UFC middleweight contender Dricus Du Plessis faced Darren Till on the UFC 282 main card back in December 2022. The rising star submitted Till in the third round to become 4-0 in the promotion at the time. Du Plessis fights for the middleweight championship in the UFC 297 main event on Jan. 20 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada against titleholder Sean Strickland .
