It’s coming up on six months since UFC star Jorge Masvidal last fought, and nothing seems to be on the horizon – or, as Colby Covington puts it, “he’s nowhere to be found.” Back in July, Masvidal lost a unanimous decision to welterweight champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 251 after taking the fight on just six days’ notice. Afterward, Masvidal vowed to do “whatever it takes” for another title shot, but he’s been mostly quiet about fighting – even as a showdown with former best friend and fellow top contender Covington makes all the sense in the world.
