To assure he got booking, though, Kennedy first had to get by Rafael Natal in October. The middleweights headlined “UFC Fight Night 31: UFC Fight for the Troops 3″ in Fort Campbell, Ky. The FOX Sports 1-televised bout, which took place in front of uniformed military personnel, saw Kennedy, who previously balanced an Army career with his pro-fighting job, send the crowd home happy.
