But when Thiago Alves bowed out with a rib injury just two weeks before UFC Fight Night 79, Henderson (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC) got paired with Jorge Masvidal (29-9 MMA, 6-2 UFC) on short notice. The fight remains intriguing, though, since it is just Henderson’s second at 170 pounds after a long career at lightweight, including a solid run as the UFC’s 155-pound champ and a title in the WEC. After making his welterweight debut in February on short notice, Henderson headlines UFC Fight Night 79 next week at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul in South Korea
