Filed under: News , UFC , Videos It wasn’t easy for Michael Bisping to finally get his long-awaited UFC middleweight title shot. Bisping (28-7 MMA, 18-7 UFC) got the shot against champion Luke Rockhold (15-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) courtesy of an injury to former champ Chris Weidman (12-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC), of course. And now he’ll go after the belt in the UFC 199 main event on June 4 at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. But to get consideration, Bisping had to win his past three bouts – all after a submission loss to Rockhold in November 2014. And included in that bunch was a “Fight of the Night” win in February in front of his home fans in England over none other than the man considered the greatest of all time, Anderson Silva .
