Filed under: News , UFC Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski still packs one heck of a punch. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva found that out the hard way. Arlovski traveled to Silva’s native Brazil in September 2014 to headline UFC Fight Night 51. Arlovski was the underdog heading into the fight, but as the two traded shots on the feet, a perfectly placed right hand sent Silva crashing to the floor. Massive hammerfists followed, sealing the first-round knockout for “The Pit Bull.” Arlovski (25-10 MMA, 14-4 UFC) has since gone on to register wins over Travis Browne and Frank Mir, as well, and he competes again at Saturday’s UFC 195 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, where he takes on Stipe Miocic (13-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) in a bout that could very well determine a future challenger to the UFC heavyweight title.
