Jon Jones (20-1 MMA, 14-1 UFC) went under the knife for the first time in his career on Thursday, and from all indications, it was a success. The reigning UFC light heavyweight champion, who earlier this week was forced out of a highly anticipated UFC 178 title defense opposite Daniel Cormier (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) due to a torn meniscus in his knee, required surgery to repair the damage.
