For a man who’s only fought four times – and never in the UFC octagon – recent signee and UFC 170 co-headliner Patrick Cummins (4-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) sure has made some waves. We recently caught up with the former NCAA Division I All-American wrestler to discuss Saturday’s late-notice bout with fellow light heavyweight Daniel Cormier (13-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC), which airs on pay-per-view from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Cummins discusses his recent criticism of Cormier and explains how his opponent’s “mental weakness” will play to his favor. He also discusses Ben Askren ‘s recent criticism and his game plan for Saturday’s bout, where Cormier is 12-1 favorite. Check out the video above.
