Ortiz (16-11-1 MMA, 0-0 BMMA), who’s resumed MMA training, hopes the commission will approve a light-heavyweight bout with Bellator MMA light heavyweight champion Alexander Shlemenko (50-7 MMA, 11-1 BMMA) on May 17 at Bellator 120.
