Filed under: Featured , Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos MEXICO CITY – Ricardo Lamas (14-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) isn’t willing to take the Conor McGregor (16-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) path to another UFC title shot, even if he’s pretty damn good at mocking the Irishman’s brash approach to fight promotion. In advance of Saturday’s UFC 180 event in Mexico City, Lamas spoke to MMAjunkie and said he’s planning a new approach to help guide his career. “Being more vocal about what I want for my career, who I want to fight next or whatever – not being a clown and trashtalking and saying, ‘Oh, look at this pocket watch. Three people died making this.’” Lamas was making a clear reference to McGregor’s famous August 2013 line, when after a decision win over Max Holloway, the Irishman described why his taste for custom suits and expensive jewelry drove him to look for spectacular finishes of his UFC opponents
