UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones found himself associated with legal trouble again Thursday when he was arrested in the wee hours of the morning in his hometown of Albuquerque, N.M. Jones faces multiple charges , including driving under the influence and negligent use of a firearm, among others, after police said they found an intoxicated Jones in his running car with a loaded gun (missing one round) and an open bottle of alcohol. Unfortunately for Jones (26-1 MMA, 20-1 UFC), who is coming off a successful defense of his belt against Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 in February, this issue is not an outlier. Instead, it’s the continuation of a common thread in his life over the past half-decade.
