For a man who has a nice three-fight winning streak in the UFC’s tough lightweight division, and against three highly touted opponents, Michael Johnson sure didn’t seem happy Saturday night. After his unanimous decision win over Melvin Guillard (31-13-2 MMA, 12-9 UFC), Johnson (15-8 MMA, 7-4 UFC) had plenty to say about his opponent’s tactics in the bout, saying, “He pretty much just ran the whole fight.” Johnson and Guillard were short-lived teammates at the Blackzilians camp in South Florida before Johnson moved on to American Top Team. There was a little bit of heat between the two heading into UFC Fight Night 37, which took place Saturday at O2 Arena in London with Johnson-Guillard in the co-main event. But for all the talk, Johnson said, Guillard didn’t seem like he was interested in engaging that often.
