On July 18, Bisping (26-7 MMA, 16-7 UFC) headlines UFC Fight Night 72 and takes on fellow middleweight contender Thales Leites (25-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC) in Scotland. UFC officials initially said the event, which takes place at the 13,000-seat SSE Hydro in Glasgow, sold out “ in a matter of hours .” But as Bisping told MMAjunkie, it actually took just 25 minutes. That gave Englishman Bisping the ammo he needed to tweak Irishman McGregor, who headlined UFC Fight Night 46 in 2014. That event, which took place at The O2 in Dublin, also sold out in less than an hour, though Bisping believes he’s got bragging rights over McGregor, who defeated Diego Brandao at the event
