Filed under: News , UFC , Videos Recently retired NFL superstar Marshawn Lynch utilized MMA training to recover from injuries during his career, and he’s still having a little fun with the sport as he enters the next phase of his career. “Beast Mode” took on fellow Tareq Azim trainee Luke Rockhold (15-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) in a bit of a sparring session – which is a bit unfair considering Lynch was wearing what appear to be jeans and a t-shirt. The UFC middleweight champion, who rematches Chris Weidman (12-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) in the main event of UFC 199, posted video of the brief session on Instagram . After failing to connect on a few jabs, Lynch resorts to a failed knee attempt and a jumping kick before the clip ends. Lynch and Weidman’s rematch takes place June 4 at The Forum in Los Angeles
