Even before he learned he had been awarded $100,000 in bonuses for his come-from-behind third-round submission victory over Jumabieke Tuerxun (14-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) at The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale on Sunday, Issa (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) tried to soak in the Las Vegas atmosphere and the buzz from the UFC Fan Expo. “I actually feel very happy for the opportunity to fight here in Las Vegas,” said the ONE FC vet, whose trip stretched 9,000 miles. “It’s my dream to be fighting here.” Check out the full conversation above as he discusses his budding UFC career.
