MMAjunkie hit up one of the Thursday pool parties taking place during “International Fight Week.” But we didn’t just do it to see people who are better looking than us. We were there with a purpose. Namely, that purpose was to ask some of the UFC celebrities in attendance about the importance of “International Fight Week,” the weeklong celebration of MMA each year in Las Vegas that allows fans from around the world to mix and mingle with their favorite fighters – and Octagon Girls – leading up to the UFC Fan Expo and, this weekend, UFC 189 and the TUF 21 Finale. That fan interaction is crucial for former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans . “Back when I started a long time ago, there was nothing like this,” Evans told MMAjunkie on Thursday at Aria.
