SAN DIEGO – Before she was even in the UFC, Holly Holm was being talked about as the chosen one – the one who could come in and give women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey the test she needs. In late February, some of that talk quelled after her UFC debut – a split-decision win over Raquel Pennington. On Wednesday, Holm (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) beat Marion Reneau (6-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 71, and even though there wasn’t much flashy about her unanimous decision victory, she said Rousey still is in her sights. “She’s the one with the belt, so I like that people put me in reference with that,” Holm said. “That’s the ultimate goal. You’re in this sport, that’s what you want.
