As the UFC grew into the global powerhouse it is today, the promotion’s president found himself run ragged with bigger-picture issues. But now White has found a way to get back to the base level of MMA – and have a little fun along the way. This past fall, White started filming a web series called “Dana White: Lookin’ for a Fight.” At heart, it’s a buddy comedy reality show focused on White with pals Matt Serra and Nick “The Tooth” Gullo as they travel across the country – for now, with around the world still to come – not only looking for new talent to bring to the UFC, but hitting up the best places to eat and play in the cities they go to. “The concept was pretty easy,” White told MMAjunkie on Thursday in New York. “If you go travel anywhere with your friends, whether it’s a football game, basketball game or fight, you guys would go to that local area, take in whatever there was to do, and you always hear rumors about what’s the best restaurant
