While the majority of the mixed martial arts world and beyond are up in arms over the Nevada Athletic Commission handing Nick Diaz a five-year suspension and hefty fine after charging him with testing positive for marijuana – his third infraction in the state – UFC president Dana White didn’t exactly jump to his defense. A little older and a little wiser, White declined to condemn the commission over the Diaz punishment during a recent trip to Australia with Ronda Rousey to promote UFC 193. White actually jumped in the midst of a question about Diaz that was directed at Rousey, perhaps more so to deflect the question away from his hottest star than it was because he wanted to answer
