After having to deal with two opponent changes, Jack Hermansson will look to deliver a statement performance in the main event of UFC on ESPN 19 on Saturday night. Hermansson (21-5 MMA, 8-3 UFC) has won five of his last six and is looking to build his case for a shot at middleweight champion Israel Adesanya sometime in 2021. Standing in his way, following the enforced withdrawals of Darren Till and Kevin Holland, is Marvin Vettori . The Italian is riding a three-fight winning streak after his split-decision loss to Adesanya back in April 2018, but has found momentum hard to come by after suffering a string of canceled matchups over the last two years. Now Vettori (15-3-1 MMA, 5-2-1 UFC) is hoping that Saturday’s short-notice assignment will give him the opportunity to gatecrash the title picture and move him one step closer to a rematch with the last man to defeat him.
