Former Bellator champion and UFC title challenger Rory MacDonald signed with the PFL with aspirations of claiming another title and $1 million prize, but that won’t be happening – at least not in his first season. MacDonald was ousted from the PFL welterweight playoffs last Friday after he was dominated and shut out on the scorecards by Ray Cooper, who advanced to the final for his third consecutive season. As for MacDonald, he’s just 32, but it’s been a long 16 years of fighting, and he’s now just 1-3 in his past four fights dating back to his run in Bellator, where he once spoke as though he was ready to retire
