Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier will conclude one of the most notable trilogies in UFC history Saturday when they clash for heavyweight gold in the UFC 252 main event. After Cormier (22-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC) took the belt from Miocic by first-round knockout at UFC 226 in July 2018, Miocic won it back with a fourth-round knockout at UFC 241 in August 2019. Now they meet in the rubber match, and not only are bragging rights and belt on the line, but UFC president Dana White said the contest will distinguish the greatest heavyweight of all-time. It’s been a wild road leading up to the final encounter, which takes place at UFC Apex in Las Vegas and airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
