Already serving a suspension for a failed drug test, Ricardo Abreu today was notified about another potential doping violation. The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency announced Abreu has been notified of a violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection taken on Dec. 21. Back in July, the UFC middleweight and “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3” veteran received a two-year suspension for failing an out-of-competition drug test. The 32-year-old tested positive for 19-norandrosterone (19-NA) and 19-noretiocholanolone – both metabolites of banned anabolic steroids listed by WADA as “non-specified substances.” Related: George Sullivan says fertility drug to blame for potential USADA anti-doping violation Abreu (5-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is currently under suspension until July 1, 2018
