MMA fans tuning into Sunday’s Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions NFL broadcast on FOX likely will recognize a familiar voice. Longtime UFC broadcaster Mike Goldberg will call the action for FOX’s team live from TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Brendon Ayanbadejo, a retired linebacker who played 10 seasons in the NFL, joins Goldberg in the booth for analysis, while FOX Sports writer Peter Schrager works the sidelines. While Goldberg is best known as the lead play-by-play announcer for the UFC, where he’s worked since 1997, the 49-year-old Ohio native previously did play-by-play work for the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota Wild and Phoenix Coyotes
