Tate, a former Strikeforce champion, recently made her UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale and suffered a loss to Cat Zingano , who mounted a third-round comeback to get the TKO victory. Zingano then earned the right to coach opposite Rousey on “TUF 18,” but due to a knee injury, Tate recently replaced her. Rousey (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Tate (13-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) are the first females to serve as head coaches on the show, which debuts Sept. 4 on FOX Sports 1 with a coed cast of bantamweights. They’ll meet in a title fight and rematch at the show’s conclusion. The fighters first met in 2012, when Rousey took Tate’s Strikeforce title via her usual first-round armbar
