If former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is eyeing a return to the octagon, he has yet to take the steps required by the UFC’s anti-doping policy . Lesnar retired for a second time in February after being given a one-year suspension by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) retroactive to July 15, 2016, for multiple drug failures stemming from his UFC 200 fight with Mark Hunt. The UFC’s anti-doping policy, which is administered by USADA, states that if a retired athlete wants to return to competition, they “must tell the UFC, in writing, that they want to start competing again.
