Frankie Edgar had the best of intentions with his Ice Bucket Challenge, but the execution left a little to be desired. The personable former lightweight champion and current featherweight contender was the latest UFC notable to take part in the fundraiser and social-media phenomenon. UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta and women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey took part this past week, for example. The basic gist of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is as follows: If challenged, you either dump a bucket of icy water on yourself, or you make a donation to the ALS Association (or both).
