Nary a word did Swanson (24-7 MMA, 9-3 UFC) commit to paper in advance of this past Thursday’s 2017 World MMA Awards, where he was nominated for “Fight of the Year” opposite Doohoo Choi (14-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC). So he winged it. “I had a good feeling that I was going to win, just because of all the support I’ve gotten about the fight,” Swanson told MMAjunkie Radio.
