Jairzinho Rozenstruik is no longer a UFC fighter. The ranked heavyweight contender was released from the promotion Monday, a little over 48 hours after his UFC Fight Night 250 loss to Sergei Pavlovich. The fight was lackluster and largely one-sided, and garnered criticism from UFC CEO Dana White afterward. A UFC official confirmed Rozenstruik’s release to MMA Junkie on Tuesday after algorithm-based X account UFC Roster Tracker posted the move. Rozenstruik (15-6 MMA, 9-6 UFC) departs the promotion having won two of his past three fights and three of his most recent five. He debuted with the promotion in February 2019 as the first fighter from Suriname to grace the UFC octagon
