For three rounds VanZant (5-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) outworked and outmaneuvered Herrig (10-6 MMA, 1-1 UFC), shrugging off bad positions and racing to better ones en route to a one-sided unanimous decision victory (30-27, 30-26, 30-26) The strawweight bout opened up the main card of today’s UFC on FOX 15 event at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J
