Karl Roberson had to fight through adversity to get the victory at UFC on ESPN+ 21 in Moscow on Saturday, but the New Jersey native did just that as he overcame a nasty eye poke that left him with a cut eyelid to claim a third-round submission win. Roberson (9-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) finished Roman Kopylov 59 seconds from the end of their light heavyweight preliminary card bout at the CSKA Arena and, speaking backstage to ESPN following his win, “Baby K” said he was happy with his night’s work.
