But in the case of the spectacular upset seen at UFC 193, the promotion might make an exception. UFC President Dana White said an immediate rematch between newly minted champ Holly Holm (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) and Ronda Rousey (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) “makes a lot of sense,” though, of course, he hedged with the usual disclaimer that he doesn’t do instant matchmaking. White made it clear, however, that Holm’s head-kick knockout of the UFC star has upended the women’s bantamweight division. “It changes a lot of things now,” he said.
