It didn’t take long for Calvin Kattar to make his mark in the UFC’s featherweight division. In just his second octagon bout, Kattar drew fellow striker Shane Burgos at UFC 220 in his home state of Massachusetts. Kattar found a home for his jab early, and Burgos landed some solid body shots as both men stood and traded in the pocket. In Round 2, Burgos kept pressure on Kattar, who continued to utilize his jab with full effect. Kattar attempted to mix things up with a takedown, but Burgos defended well against the cage. Burgos’ body work started to pay off as he turned the tide a little in the second frame.
