UFC Fight Pass continues to add live, streaming events from around the globe, and UFC officials will shortly announce that Pancrase will make its live debut on the online network in October. MMAjunkie recently confirmed with UFC officials that Pancrase, which added its taped library of content to UFC Fight Pass earlier this year, will soon host live events on the outlet, as well. The addition will help bolster an increasingly staunch lineup of live events on the UFC’s digital network, which in September will include Invicta FC 14, Titan FC 35, Shooto Brazil 57 and the debut of Eurasia Fight Nights, in addition to UFC 191 content that aired this past weekend, as well as UFC Fight Night 75 in Japan. “Our foundation is going to be rooted in live, streaming events,” UFC Fight Pass Senior Vice President and General Manager Eric Winter recently told MMAjunkie. “Our customers have an expectation that we deliver supremely gifted product, both on the content side and on the technological side.” In July, Winter – a former Yahoo! Sports executive – was added to the UFC staff. He recently told MMAjunkie that original programming, such as “The 3rd Degree with Kyra Gracie,” which debuted this week, will be a big focus for the UFC Fight Pass team but that live events will always remain a cornerstone for the growing brand
