The Ultimate Fighting Championship this week returns to Abu Dhabi for the first time since Anderson Silva was middleweight champion and defended his belt against Demian Maia at UFC 112 in April of 2010. This time around on Yas Island, former PRIDE and UFC champ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira steps into the main event to face The Ultimate Fighter season 10 winner Roy Nelson in a battle for relevancy in the heavyweight division. Nogueira (34-8-1, 1 NC) makes his return following a nearly year-long absence after he suffered an injury in losing via arm bar to Fabricio Werdum last June. Nelson (19-9) is coming off of back-to-back losses to Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic.
