LAS VEGAS – Upkicks don’t lead to many finishes in the UFC, but Marco Beltran utilized them perfectly to stun Reginaldo Vieira and set up a second round rear-naked choke finish. The bantamweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 90 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass. Related: UFC Fight Night 90 play-by-play and live results Vieira (13-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) powered through an early takedown to put the fight on the floor, but Beltran (8-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) quickly used the cage to work back to his feet. Vieira was relentless, however, and continued to score with takedowns while a seemingly frustrated Beltran continued to avoid engaging on the ground, instead fighting his way back to his feet every time. With under two minutes left in the opening round, the much taller Beltran started to crack Vieira with hard power punches and knees
