Jake Collier ’s first three UFC fights have been far from home. Well, sort of. He made his promotional debut in Brazil, and his most recent bout was in South Korea. In between – his lone UFC victory – was in New Orleans, and if you’ve ever been to NOLA, you know sometimes that’s like being out of the country. So on Sunday, when Collier (9-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) fights Alberto Uda (9-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in a middleweight bout at UFC Fight Night 88, it feels like a sort of new beginning.
