As the fight went on, and a speed disadvantage revealed itself, Svensson (14-6 MMA, 0-1 UFC) become more desperate to get the fight to the ground. But he was throughly thumped before he got his wish, falling prey to Teymur’s (4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) punch. The lightweight bout opened today’s UFC Fight Night 84 event at The O2 in London.
