Leonardo Augusto Leleco Leonardo Augusto Leleco will step into the UFC octagon for the first time tonight when he faces Anthony Smith at UFC Fight Night 83. It’s a weighty moment in the career of a fighter, but strange situations are nothing new to the Brazilian. In 13 professional fights, Leleco (11-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has only failed to pick up the victory twice, once in a 2011 decision loss and once when a victory against TUF Brazil 3 veteran Jollyson Francino was changed to a no-contest weeks after the fight. Leleco said the situation took a toll on him, but he’s 4-0 since with two submissions and a TKO. “The no-contest from my fight with Jollyson Francino was due a disagreement with the referee,” Leleco said.
