James Krause said he won’t be around the UFC much longer if he continues his one-won, lose-one pattern. Krause (22-7 MMA, 3-3 UFC) knows similar results could lead to a UFC release, but he doesn’t want to be a mid-tier lightweight anyway. That’s what makes Sunday’s bout against Shane Campbell (12-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 83 all the more important. “I truly believe I can beat any guy in the division,” Krause told MMAjunkie Radio.
